Indigenous Solidarity Day London took place on June 21, 2018, at ‘The Green’ in Wortley Village, next to the Normal School.

Coinciding with Canada’s National Indigenous Peoples Day, the all-day event started with a sunrise ceremony at 5:30 am and included lacrosse games, Pow Wow, longhouse social dancing, Indigenous crafts and food, and booths from community organizations.

This incredible celebration of Indigenous and Métis culture was organized by N’Amerind Friendship Centre, Atlohsa Native Family Healing Services, Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre, Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians, London Police Service, and Old South Community Organization.
