This Saturday, Feb. 10 is LondonFuse’s very first (but definitely not the last) Page to Stage musical showcase.
We’re coming to Old East 765 Bar with a solid lineup of great local acts, giving you a taste of garage rock, Canadiana folk, soul and straight up punk.
The lineup for the night is:
Klazo – 9 p.m.
Celebrated Folk Icon Ivan Rivers – 10 p.m.
Pacanomad – 11 p.m.
Specks – 12 a.m.
And in between sets, we’ve got Radio Western spinning tunes.
As the event name implies, each of these artists were featured either on londonfuse.ca or in the pages of Short Fuse. Don’t know where to look?
That’s cool, we’ll help you with that.
Back in September, we interviewed Specks about their recently released video for Serenade.
In December, we gave the gift of Klazo for Christmas as part of our Five-Word Album Reviews in December’s edition of Short Fuse.
This January, we spoke to Celebrated Folk Icon Ivan Rivers about his Cosmic Canadiana music.
And just this past week, we talked music, food and more with Pacanomad.
We know… it’s a lot of great music to process, so just how do you get started on your instant fandom?
Right here, reader, right here.
Get to work with Klazo’s Job, off their October 2017 release, Embarrassed of Living.
Once you’re done that, let Specks punch you to sleep with Serenade.
Think you’re not alone? That’s because Pacanomad is making you Paranoid with this track from their newest album, Take It Slow.
But if we could tell you something in private, we’d say listen to Ivan Rivers’ Confidante off his album of the same name.
Come out to OEV Saturday and support some great bands and some great volunteers.
Cover is $5 at the door and every cent goes to supporting local music!
