With events on hold due to Covid-19, Londoners are looking for ways to stay occupied.

This is a great time to get outside and immerse yourself in London’s natural areas. We took to the trails at Westminster Ponds to capture some of the beauty that it has to offer.

Westminster Ponds contains London’s largest Environmentally Significant Area (ESA). The newly restored gatehouse located off of Western Counties Road to contains an overview of the area’s rich history, including its use as a recuperation centre for veterans after World War II.

Today, the ESA is home to the Westminster Ponds Centre, London’s hub for environment and sustainability. It is currently in development and shows a promising future for environmental impact in our community.

Have a look at the gallery, and take some time to explore Westminster Ponds for yourself!
