What do your stars say in 2018?
It’s that time of year for new choices, new beginnings, and new experiences. We greet the day with starry-eyed optimism, ready to take on whatever the world throws at us. Speaking of stars, sometimes we like to get a little help from our celestial partners, or in other words, our zodiac signs.
Lucky for us, Madam Fusella has not disappointed and has, right here, just what to expect from your LondonFuse Horoscope in 2018.
Capricorn (22 December – 19 January )
Get ready for 2018, Capricorn. This is the year for smart moves, strategic action, and energized output, all for the sake of fulfilling lifelong hopes and dreams. From beginning to mid-year, you’ll find yourself accumulating important allies and attending the right events. By year’s end, you may find your name replacing Rachel McAdams as London’s hometown hero. And people will thank you for it, because you’re actually from London.
Aquarius (20 January – 18 February)
For you, Aquarius, 2018 is the year of change. To begin with, you’ll need to find the ability to take yourself seriously and, even more so, your work. You’ll share a common goal with those around you and need to play your part, which of course you’ll quickly embrace when the winds of change start blowing. Like the 2018 LTC Transit Plan, say goodbye to what’s no longer relevant, say hello to what improves daily life, and listen to the people around you, they will be the legs you stand on.
Pisces (19 February – 20 March)
This year will be one of long hours and hard work, Pisces. In the beginning, you’ll find yourself longing to fulfill a particular dream that, with determination and dedication, you’ll find manifests by the summer months. To go along with this, your calendar will keep filling up. Like the festival schedule in Victoria park come June, you won’t see a moment’s peace until fall. But that’s exactly how you like it!
Aries (21 March – 19 April)
You’ll start the year with unmatched ambition and professional output, Aries. For this you’ll garner immense success and praise, it may even feel like too much at times. Yes, you’ll become the personification of London’s tech sector, on top and ready to rule. By mid-year, all your professional ducks will be so neatly in a row, you can turn inwards and focus on physical health and mental strength. As the year approaches its end, you’ll have come full circle, as a more successful, brighter, healthier, and renowned you. Watch out, London.
Taurus (20 April – 20 May)
Get ready for 2018, Taurus, because it’s going to be a wild ride. With Venus in your sign to start things off, you’re a vision, a ray of sunshine, and a ball of energy. It’s all about the highlife by mid-year with ample travel opportunities, copious new experiences, and by the end, you’ll see growth within your finance realm that will make the likes of Farhi jealous.
Gemini (21 May – 20 June)
This year is going to be all engagements, connections, business, and beauty, Gemini! The joy you’ll feel in early 2018 can be likened to that of OEV restaurant and business owners following the re-opening of Dundas East after a full year of crippling construction. By mid-year, your calendar will be filled to the brim with nothing but positivity coming from your efforts. Come December, you’ll look back on this wonderfully hectic, heavily fruitful year knowing you can handle anything that comes your way.
Cancer (21 June – 22 July)
You’ll find yourself in the spotlight, perhaps even more than you like this year, Cancer. However, don’t fret! No matter where your focus lays – love, family, finance, or career – you know how to handle it and where it is you need to adapt. You’re like city council at their very best, you’ll listen to the need, assess the situation, and set out on the right path towards what’s best for everybody, but very importantly, yourself.
Leo (23 July – 22 August)
Challenges, opportunities, and growth are the themes this year, Leo. To begin, you’ll find yourself schmoozing with and sweet-talking all the right people and come summer, your invested energies will help rapid planning unfold. However, proceed with caution to stay on track, don’t get zealous and you’ll continue your upward spiral. The last thing this city needs is to see another heritage building demolished for a highrise that won’t be built for three years.
Virgo (23 August – 22 September)
Virgo! This will be your year of intensity. You’ll find yourself in the hot seat often, but there won’t be one thing you can’t handle. As the year progresses, you’ll find yourself able to effectively talk your way into or out of any situation, contentious or constructive. You’ll exist as something like an impartial party on the rapid transit debate, capable of arguing both sides and making sense of messes that many Londoners just cannot comprehend.
Libra (23 September – 22 October)
The focus is on you in 2018, Libra. In the beginning, it may feel like too much pressure but stay calm and stay focused, there’s nothing you can’t handle. By mid-year, don’t let others get the best of you. You may feel like doing something rash but refrain. Ill-informed and angry posts in local community association social media pages never get anyone anywhere. By year’s end, you’ll be on top, just enjoy the ride.
Scorpio (23 October – 21 November)
In 2018, you’re a force of nature, Scorpio, but this year even more than others. To start, the sun joins your ruling planet, Pluto and creates an intensity that may shock people. Here we mean “shock” in a good way, the kind that helps others spring into action rather than the exaggerated street preacher kind that left London reeling in 2017. By mid to late year, you’re unstoppable and there’s nothing or no one who can send you off course.
Sagittarius (22 November – 21 December)
Sagittarius, you’ll enter 2018 in full motion with power and ambition at your back. You’ll find yourself accelerating at speeds even you didn’t think possible. But remain level-headed and courteous, no one wants to be compared to London drivers who go 80 km/hour down a residential street in a snowstorm. Remember, “drive like your kids live here” and by the end of the year, you’ll be exactly where you need to be, without any inconsiderate danger involved.
