Looking at dazzling lights around the city is one of the most magical ways to get into the Christmas spirit.
When I was in my last year of university, my dad told my family about Jena Crescent’s Christmas light displays. After we drove to the East London street and marvelled at their holiday spirit for the first time, we go back every year.
Nearly every home on Jena Crescent gets into the holiday spirit with their inflatable and light displays, making it one of the best kept secrets in London during the holiday season.
If you’re a transit rider and aren’t in the area, you can take any route going to Argyle Mall (Routes 2, 3, 5, 7, 17, 37 and 94) and then either Routes 2,7, or 35 from the mall. Exit around Admiral Drive and Carlyle and walk down Kipling Avenue to get there. Visit the LTC (London Transit Commission) website for route schedules.
Below is just a snippet of what you can find on Jena Crescent.
Happy Holidays, Fusers!
