We had so much fun last year, we’re doing it again! It’s BRUNCHFEST 2019!
Last year, BRUNCHFEST began as a fundraiser for LondonFuse and Radio Western in partnership with London Brewing. Several delicious local food vendors and hundreds of hungry Londoners came out to London Brewing HQ (521 Burbrook Place) on Father’s Day for an afternoon of delicious food, tasty beer (and beer-mosas… it is brunch after all), games, dad jokes, and killer tunes from DJ Uncle Ando.
The response was incredible and we CANNOT wait to bring the brunch crowd together again this year on Sunday June 16 from 11am to 3pm at London Brewing in the OEV! Come with dad, come with your friends… or come by yourself, you’ll be pleased you didn’t miss it!
This year will feature some of last year’s favourites along with some new cuisine choices, local vendors and old trusties like kids games, the stroller and bike valet, DJ Uncle Ando, and of course door prizes/silent auction items contributed generously by local businesses and creatives.
Let’s take a look through what you’ve come to expect as well as the new additions at BRUNCHFEST 2019!
La Noisette Bakery
La Noisette was among the amazing lineup of food vendors at last year’s BRUNCHFEST and this year, they’re at it again! Located at Quebec and Oxford Streets daily, they will be at London Brewing on Sunday with a menu of madly delicious baked goods and finger foods.

Have you ever had a bagel bomb? If not, you must, and if so, you know just how fluffy and delicious these items are and they will be in ample supply at BRUNCHFEST. Those amongst many other sweet treats, La Noisette is in the “must-visit” category, as usual.
Rosie’s Streetery
Who out there doesn’t love tacos? Not many, that’s for sure, and Rosie’s Streetery serves up the best and brightest. At last year’s BRUNCHFEST, we don’t think the staff had one moment’s rest tending to an ever-present line of Londoners hungry for tacos. Yes, they’re just that good.

Although, they’re menu option do include more than just sweet, sweet tacos if you’re looking for something a little different. From burgers to loaded fries, no matter what you choose, you’ll be in gastro heaven with Rosie’s.
Irie Bites Cafe
Irie Bites Cafe, without a doubt one of the greatest things in our fair city! And, we must say, Jennifer and crew were amongst some of the very favourite food options last year at BRUNCHFEST… she sold out THREE times!

You better believe she’ll be dishing out her incredible jerk chicken, goat curry, and a few other tasty treats to satiate all your Caribbean desires.
Backroads Coffeehouse & Cakery
Backroads is just one of the delightful new additions to the food vendor docket this year, and we’re SO HAPPY to have them! They’ve been making their mark in the OEV for the past few years and with food and drinks this good, there’s no way but up.

Come on out and see them for delicious wraps, bagel sandwiches, sweet treats, and some incredible cold drinks from coffee to magnificent iced tea.
V Food Spot
V Food Spot hit the local vegan scene a few years ago here in London and they’ve been making waves ever since. Offering up some of the most exquisite vegan cuisine in this city, we are so very excited to have them be part of this year’s BRUNCHFEST.

Did we mention doughnuts? Yes, doughnuts, of many delectable flavours that you would never in a million years think are dairy free. Make sure to come snag one (or five), they are sure to go fast.
Goodah Gastro Truck
You all know and love Goodah, it has become an institution in London. For several years now, they’ve been bestowing upon London some of the most unique and delectable gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and we can’t wait to see what they cook up for BRUNCHFEST.

Why not put all the fixings of brunch into a sandwich? Well, rumour has it, they’ve done just that so you’ll have to come on down to find out for sure…
And of course, London Brewing
This event would not be what it is without our incredible partners, London Brewing. They are at the centre of the OEV community and continue to make it a wonderful place to live, work, or visit everyday! So, whether you’re coming on down with dad, or coming on down to bask in brunch-y glory, be sure to check out they’re rotating taps and have yourself a few pints as brunch allows for all to do.

Perhaps there’s a beer-mosa is in your future? Or if you’re looking for something of the 0% alcohol variety, they’ve got you covered with sodas, juice, and kombucha on tap!
Oh yes and new this year, there will be local vendors!
Odyssey Records
The fine people at Odyssey Records will be at BRUNCHFEST selling all those music library must-haves you need in your life.

Need a last minute Father’s Day Gift? Or are you looking for a little something for yourself? Whatever it is, make sure to check them out.
Eastown Barber Shop
Eastown Barber Shop is all about retro style and quality hair and beard care. On top of that, it’s all female barbers specializing in men’s style and they will be at BRUNCHFEST offering trims, shaves, and general sprucing up… exactly what dad should be treated to on Father’s Day!

Come on out and support these ladies, you’ll be amazed at what they can do.
Amongst all the previously mentioned wondrous things, there will be oh so much more happening at BRUNCHFEST! There will be kids activities, silent auction items like locally made goods, records, concert tickets, and gift certificates, fully licensed front and back patios, and a whole whack of FREE parking right across the street in London Brewing’s new, humungous lot!
We cannot wait to share with you what we’ve been cooking up (no pun intended) this year, it’s sure to be a time for the books. See you there, London!
