Unbound 2018 – Fanshawe’s annual student-run fashion event presented by the Fanshawe Alumni Association – saw more than 500 people in attendance. Unbound celebrates and showcases the collections of Fanshawe’s third-year Fashion Design graduates.

This is the 12th year of the event and the second year it’s taken place at Fanshawe’s Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology. This year’s Unbound delighted fashionistas from all over Ontario with varied collections ranging from costume to streetwear, from technical to bridal.

Designers’s explored themes of fashion technologies and the re-interpretation of past couture craft in a future of innovative advancement.

Unbound Designers, in collaboration with over 10 other additional Fanshawe program graduates, oversee the conception and completion of the event each year. The event provides an extensive, professional and hands-on experience for its students that will prove to be valuable throughout their dynamic careers.

Here is a behind scenes look from Special Events Planning graduate Tim Limsana, as this year’s Student Marketing Coordinator for Unbound 2018: Fashion in the Age of Technology
