Terry was a made-for-TV movie about Terry Fox and his journey across Canada. Myself and Kevin Chandoo designed this piece for Shaftesbury Films on behalf of Technicolor, Canada.
Thanks, Thomas. Being at Technicolor we had a lot of film post resources. And at the time, free reign on creative, though most were very collaborative with the clients. Kevin handled the composite of the ink effects, which I think were done on a Flint, or Flame (but I could be totally wrong on that...) I know we purpose-shot the paper texture, both clean and with the wordmark. I believe he faked the 3D plane /camera and just did a masked reveal of the title. He did a separate animation specific to each shot.
