Sometimes you like music because you're friends with the people making it. Sometimes you like music because it's amazing and there is a lot of raw talent behind it. Sometimes you get both.
Pete Van Helvoort is one of the main songwriters for Teenage Kicks, a rock and roll band from Toronto.
He writes songs, he writes them well, and he works pretty damn hard at it. He put this out this week, and despite looking like he's in a wedding while he sings it, it's pretty damn good.
