The Middlesex-London Health Unit introduced HEALTHY CITY / Active London as a video and position statement on Active Transportation, at a news conference on Friday, August 10th, at its 50 King Street Office.

The report was led by Dr. Jason Gilliland, Associate Professor at Western University, in collaboration from Health Unit staff.

Active Transportation is defined by The City of London and Health Canada as any form of human-powered transportation including walking, cycling, inline skating and skateboarding. HEALTHY CITY / Active London is the MLHU’s submission to ReTHINK London, the year-long community conversation about the future of London that will propose recommendations that will influence the direction of the City of London’s revised Official Plan.

This is the best government produced video I've seen out of London. Congrats to the team who put it together.
