A Night of Noise at Nuit Blanche
After last year's wildly successful event, we're gearing up for another night of culture and collaboration. Back again is Hide and Seek and Show and Tell along with new additions the Nihilist Spasm Band, VibraFusionLab, Audio Lodge and more.
London's VibraFusionLab - a newly-formed collective under the guidance of London artist David Bobier in partnership with Ryerson University's Centre for Learning Technologies (CLT) and SMART Lab, invites you to an interactive, multi-sensory studio experience investigating the phenomenon of vibration as a creative, expressive artistic medium.
Special guests collaborating with the VibraFusionLab are leading London musical groups Audio Lodge and Transmorphous Sound Ensemble (Richard Moule/Chris Meloche), as well as London innovator, Dennis Siren, through The Art of Streaming. The ensembles will perform throughout the night, having their unusual instruments and sounds transformed into vibrotactile experiences: you will be able to listen and 'feel' to the performances enhanced by sitting in Emoti-Chairs!
Back by popular demand is Cailen Dye's Hide and Seek Show and Tell Art Party, complete with non-stop music for artistic inspiration. Headliner this year is London's own Nihilist Spasm Band, with openers Exit 2012.
