The TINY Box Collective is showcasing their work at the East Village Arts Co-op all week and tonight was the opening. The artists are Lido Pimienta, Toni Darling, and Kyle Mowat.  All of their amazing work on display is for sale at VERY reasonable prices (approx $40-$300).

Toni Darling has a variety of shirts ($30), shoes ($20), stuffed toys, bags ($20), and artworks (multi-media and acrylic) for sale amongst other creations, including sachets full of amazing smelling stuff to fill your drawers with.

Lido Pimiento has various art pieces for sale and her colourful works always bring to my mind the latin word mirabilis, which means strange and marvelous; I can't think of a more apt description than that.

Kyle Mowat has beautiful, elaborate, mainly black and white pieces for sale, as well as one of a kind pins if you can only afford to take a little piece of him home.

These are a few of London's brightest, most talented artists (and they are all under 25 to boot!) and I strongly encourage you to go see their work in person and take something home with you.

The show that rocked our socks off. It was such a great turnout for such a rainy night. Thanks goes out to Tinybox for showing London what contemporary art can be like: accessible, affordable, weird and marvelous.
