This is a picture of The Zellots, a band that was conceptionalized here in London back in 1978 and came together in Vancouver shortly thereafter. When they formed in Vancouver, they were one of the first all female punk bands that could actually play their instruments. After breaking up a year or so later, Chris (guitar) and Jane (bass) came back to London and reformed The Zellots with a new singer and drummer and lasted a few more years before packing it in. The complete story of The Zellots is in the latest issue of Mongrel Zine and is available locally at Grooves Records.
