New exhibition opens March 20

This exhibition of recent work by London artist Kelly Wallace features a series of graphite and pen renderings that explore the relationship between replication and memory.; As study, drawing is often a point of origin and departure for the creation of something else: a painting, a sculpture, a building, or the expression of an idea: a mathematic calculation, a musical score. Wallace’s drawings embody each of these. His unconventional, often fantastic, landscapes are the result of a rigid systematic approach to mark making, rendering with an uncanny, apparently, computer-generated aesthetic, drawing into question issues of originality, execution and craftsmanship.

Admission to Museum London is by donation. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, until 9:00 pm on Thursdays.
