I am a Motivational Speaker/Singer/Songwriter & Youth Advice Columnist. I have inspired change in the lives of thousands of youth who have benefitted from my openness, wisdom, sincerity, and authenticity. The Web is a principal source of information about emotional wellness for youth. Since Social media is ever growing in popularity, especially with our youth, my goal is to provide tools in a 24 hour accessible format. To achieve this goal I am looking to partner with mindyourmind, a non-profit internet program where youth can connect, get info and resource tools to help them manage stress, crisis and mental health issues. This site is also used by the professionals who serve youth.
mindyourmind & I want to develop and design a new internet life tool game to help youth work through whatever challenges they are facing. The game will provide them with life skills that will encourage them to look at the end result they want from the circumstances that they are faced with. They will then have the opportunity to write all the choices available to them that will help them get to their desired end result.
This online interactive game hosted on the mindyourmind website will be a meaningful and important tool that youth can use to bring clarity and direction to their life. It will help them see that their choices are powerful and that it is their choices that help determine how their life plays out.
This interactive web game will benefit the youth who I personally come in contact with at my UPower Programs, the ones I connect with through my website and Facebook and of course the community of youth found on the mindyourmind website. It is our goal, that a web-based interactive life game will inspire youth and the service providers in the community in which they live, to take life one good choice at a time.!
