On October 17th, the Urban League of London is host to the Our Street Community Forum at the Wolf Performance Hall, London Public Library.
Active Transportation experts Dr. Rodney Tolley and Dr. Jason Gilliland will highlight the vital importance of people based street design and participate in a panel discussion with representatives from the City of London, community groups and concerned citizens focusing on opportunities for tangible and concrete local action.

Dr. Rodney Tolley, Conference Director of Walk21 is recognized as one of the world’s sustainable transportation heroes for his work as an international consultant in the field of active and sustainable transportation.
Dr. Jason Gilliland is Director of the Urban Development Program at UWO and a local leader in the promotion of walkable communities. His groundbreaking research focuses on children’s environments and public health in Canadian cities.
This event is hosted by the Urban League of London and is presented in cooperation with the City of London, London Public Library, Middlesex-London Health Unit, Thames Region Ecological Association, Green Communities Canada and the London Community Foundation.
