The Oily Birds are a London based rock'n'roll combo who take their inspiration from 60's punk/70's punk and just about anything else that's cool. Some of the members have been in The Legend Killers, Young Fast and Scientific, The Evil Hoodoos, The Boy From Nowhere, B5 Blue and many other fine bands. The Oily Birds have opened for many, including The Legendary Dirtbikers, The Bon, The 905's, Jim 'Speed City' Ashby, The Hook Up, Boy From Nowhere, Paul Collins Beat, The Walnut Kids, Mother's Children,Wormwood Scrubs, The Polymorphines and many others.
Tune in for an action packed set sometime between 7 and 8:30PM on Radio What Wave as Jon Traut is sure to have some witty remarks that'll make you scratch your head and wonder! All for fun!!
