– The London Potters Guild’s Annual Fall Show and Sale will be held at the London Clay Art Centre, located at 664 Dundas Street, the weekend of November 25, 26 and 27th. There will be over 40 clay artists participating with both functional and sculptural pieces available.
The opening reception is Friday, November 25 from 6pm to 9pm with live music and a chance to meet many of the participating artists. For the first time, the sale will run all day Friday, with the doors opening at 11am Friday morning. The show continues Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm with hourly door prizes each day.
“This is an absolutely fabulous opportunity to pick up unique, locally crafted gifts for the holiday season,” said Nancy Marshall, President of the London Potters Guild. “The variety and quality of our pottery improves with each sale.”
All the clay artists featured at the show are members of the London Potters Guild. Some members work out of the London Clay Art Centre. “It’s a friendly, fun place to work, members are always willing to share ideas and techniques” says Sandra Paterson, one of the Clay artists participating in the show, “the annual sale allows us to exhibit our creativity and share our love of the craft with members of the community”
