The LONDON POTTERS GUILD has just announced the fall schedule for adults, children, teens parent/child and couples pottery courses. The fall session of classes starts the week of September 20, 2010. All classes are held at the London Clay Art Centre, 664 Dundas Street.
Classes for the fall session have are eight weeks in length and start in mid Septmber 20. New students are introduced to working with clay and will learn such things as hand building techniques, throwing on the potter’s wheel, glazing and finishing techniques. Returning students refine and develop their skills, as well as explore advanced pottery making techniques. Participants will have finished pottery pieces. Share the excitement of learning pottery in a state-of-the-art facility with experienced instructors, eager to work with participants at all levels of experience.
Since opening the doors of the London Clay Art Centre in September 2009, this state of the art facility has hosted more than 50 classes and workshops. The London Potters Guild offers adult classes from beginners to advanced, with times varying from morning to evening. Children’s and teens classes are scheduled for Saturdays.
