Crane and the Cobra Warrior Training, a new 8 week course where you will experience the fusion of Yoga and Kung Fu. A fusion of the fluid movements of the breath with the potential power and precision of the Human form. Taught by the founders of the program, Mark Maslen and Aron Barnes.
Yoga as a practice develops a deep understanding of the self. Through the understanding of the human reaction to the world that we interact with a deep sense of self confidence can be created. The warrior training program will develop a deep connection with the breath through pranayama (breath management) practice and invigorating vinyasa (movement with breath) style practice. The Yoga practice will develop a strong supple body as well as a chance to know the one that dwells within.
Kung Fu is the oldest known Asian martial art. Its connection with yoga dates back to its very inception, when monks from India brought exercises (yoga) to the monasteries of China. From this base of yoga, the Chinese monks, particularly at the Shaolin Temple, developed a martial art which is the ancestor of all styles of modern-day kung fu. Crane and the Cobra Warrior Training merges the traditional movements and energetic principles of this art with modern, practical self-defence application.
By combining these two practices you will not only become stronger, faster and physically healthier, you will become one with yourself. You will be confident and walk as a humble warrior.
