Community Theater for Change focuses on communication, organization and understanding between individuals in a group. Participants will play games together, learn new, unique and dynamic techniques to communicate with each other. They will learn to create image theatre and to improvise. The end goal is to create fictional worlds in which participants engage, interact and react honestly, learning about ourselves in a safe environment. Through this work, the participants are transformed from a group of people, perhaps strangers, who share a space together, to a community that is interconnected, able to communicate on a deeper level than just a group of people. And the best part is it's free! (We do, however, accept donations.)
