Now in its 4th year, Colores de Latinoamérica is the Sunfest Committee's premier exhibition of works by some of Southwestern Ontario's most talented visual artists who were born in, and bring a wealth of experience from, different Latin American countries.
In his introduction to the Colores '10 catalogue, curator Oswaldo DeLeón Kantule ("Achu") writes: "This January, we present to you six artists that have had various levels of recognition both in and outside of Canada. Overall, their works have a much more conceptual feel - something a little different for the majority of people who are used to seeing landscapes and still life paintings from Latin American artists."
