Car Free Festival, it's back. Say what?
We're going to be closing Dundas Street 4 times this summer in June, July, August, and September.
Car Free Fest 1: June 18/19
For the first addition of this summer-long event series we're teaming up with the London Fringe Festival and Nuit Blanch. Come during the day to check out the action on the street including:
Live music at Dundas and Richmond
BBQ patio eats
Beer Garden
Purple Bikes Bike Rental
Lots of vendors
Tones of Art
APK Live music and art booth
Handmade Festival workshops
Shuttle Bus Service (details to come)
Kids Zone play area brought to you by the London Public Library and
the Children's Museum
And too much more to mention.
The music schedule and map are now available on the Car Free Day mobile app at http://m.carefreefest.ca. The scavenger hunt info will be available come Saturday. If you don't have a smart phone grab the London Free Press which has a copy of the Car Free Festival program.
Come in the evening for Fringe Festival Fun from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM
The street will be closed all night friends, this will be a really unique experience so don't miss the fun!
