Bumbletea Theatre presents
Theft: A Miracle Play
In a commoditized world where colour, language, and freedom are owned by a ubiquitous dictator, a pair of unlikely heroes set out to save the imaginary from being erased altogether. Only the rumour of a strange prophecy threatens to destroy Lord Mick’s vast commercial empire. Meanwhile, Mary and Joseph must protect their unborn child from the soldiers determined to make sure that the prophecy is not fulfilled. Throw in a dash of George Lucas, Jesus, Walt Disney, and an anthropomorphic zebra and you’ve got Theft: A Miracle Play!
Theft: A Miracle Play is the latest exciting production from Bumbletea Theatre, the Brickenden-nominated company that brought you Twicken’s Book and Smell Co: The Untold Story.
