HANDS PRESENTS:

April 18 Gobble Gobble, Rich Aucoin, Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt, itsagamble!

GOBBLE GOBBLE (Edmonton, Alberta)
The Gobble boys are back. If you missed the last 2 times, make the third a charm. They possessed the Castle Drum for an hour and its never been the same without them there. We're still finding butterfly wings and birds eggs stashed in the corners.
“Boring Horror” begs for a new classification altogether, though if pressed, we’d say it’s equal measures happy hardcore, freak folk, and short-circuited pop. Mixed, the parts form a delirious soup bursting with frantic electrosounds, trilling vocals, and a speedy drumline. It’s all quite impossible to describe but perhaps if you imagine feeding a llama some uppers and outfitting him with keyboard shoes, you’d come close.

RICH AUCOIN (Halifax, Nova Scotia)
Notorious for his nostalgically epic live shows, Rich Aucoin is ready to bring his depression-slaying balloon and confetti-filled live parties on another Canadian tour. With Aucoin's live dance parties spreading happiness like an infectious pandemic and his stellar lineup of friends, this one will surely keep you as stoked as a six-year-old at recess.

TERROR PIGEON DANCE REVOLT (New York)
"Basically we show up with a billion lights, bags and bags of costumes (enough for anyone who wants one), 60 or more light sabers and really good songs, grab some mics and say “look, this is your time; you chose to be here, you probably paid your hard earned money to be here: don’t you dare walk out that door without having the best night of your life!”
