This year, The Faculty of Education is excited to be performing the new hit Broadway musical, 13. The show has recently finished a successful run on Broadway and now Althouse has the opportunity to be one of the first theatre companies to revive it.
This musical is a coming-of-page story that follows the life of 12 year-old Evan Goldman as he moves from New York City to a small town in Indiana. Evan, at the brink of his Bar Mitzvah celebration, tries hard to fit into the world of junior high school and make new friends, while struggling with the repercussions of his parents divorce. Evan attempts to balance his social life and find out what it really means to be a friend, but soon realizes that we all have a little more homework to do. 13 is a fun, engaging show for a variety of ages, that includes an exciting array of characters and an upbeat musical score!
Please come and support our Teacher Candidates as they celebrate the importance of the Arts at all levels of Education and sustain this tradition within the London community.
Tickets are available through the Grand Theatre Box Office and can be purchased either online at www.grandtheatre.com or by phone at 519-672-8800. Tickets are $10 for seniors/students and $15 for adults.
The show will be presented in the auditorium of Althouse College nightly at 8pm, has a running time of approximately 90 minutes and there will be free parking available in the Althouse parking lot.
We hope to see you all there!
