Uniiverse.com is a new social media-esque website, launched February 7, 2012, by one of Western's very own grads. Uniiverse is reminiscent of Kijiji, with the addition of face-to-face component. The site is a place where anyone can post an activity or event. Which can range from a free Tawkwondo class, to an essay editing exchange. Those who may be hesitant to sign up with strangers for some activity or service can evaluate the listing through the "Trust Score" that is assigned to each posting. Uniiverse describes their site as one that allows users to find activities and services, discover new people and join the "sharing economy".
