The Met

Well friends, we want to give you the skinny on what we've been working on. It's official, the old Red Apple building is soon to be The Metropolitan Market. 379 is proud to announce we will be managing a weekend art market in the space. Basically An Artists AfFair is evolving into 10,000 sqft downtown! Keep your eyes peeled for The Met at 140 Dundas. You will notice in the weeks to come the original lettering (as seen in the photo) go up across the front of the building along with some other fine tuning to the facade.

We are working on the details for vendors, so just hold on for another week or so and we will let you know how to get your own space. Like AAF there will be a juried process and application.

We are extremely excited about the opportunities this space has to offer London's creative community. We want to stick to our mandate which is to bring people together and share our ideas. The next few months are going to be amazing. Let's do this London.

love,

379.

I think this is pretty crazy neat. And can't help but wonder how this is happening...

What's the deal with this space!?

I feel really stupid, but could someone explain exactly what the "weekend art market" is? I'm really excited and curious about what's going on in this space, but I'm not really familiar with 379 or the idea behind this project.

The Met is going to be a weekend artisans market. Local small businesses will be given the forum with which to sell their handmade items, products and art.

A unique shopping experience where consumers are supporting the local artisans and local businesses directly, creating a sustainable exchange of goods.

379 is a creative production and events management company that is behind this project and will be managing the building.

Hope that helps.
