Gregory Euclide, a painter/sculpture from Minnesota, believes that us urbanites can never have a non-mediated experience of Nature. His current exhibit at the David B Smith Gallery, furthers his exploration of the "contradictions between the projection of idealized, picturesque views of landscape and our desire to have an authentic experience in nature."
