For this week's installment of Fifty-Two Weeks I decided that I would head out into the community to see if I can get the public (specifically pedestrians) once again engaged.
For this project I have decided that it would be cool to see what other people see when they are traveling through the city.
In order to capture these images I am distributing some ‘Community Cameras’ throughout the city (downtown, old east, old south) during the week to allow individuals the opportunity to capture what they find interesting around them.
Scattering a single disposable camera around the city each day for the next five days, I hope that I can begin to better understand what it is that people look at and focus on when they are out and about.
I only hope that the cameras I distribute actually get used and that people do not steal them at the end of the day.
So if you are out and about over the next week and see one of my cameras lying around with the above sign, please take a moment to snap a picture of yourself, your friends, your surroundings, really anything goes.
I look forward to seeing how you see.
