Last week Brian Frank finished his first published book and released it for the world to consume.  Titled  Truth, Will & Relevance, this book outlines "an innovative way to understand human nature and conduct — conceived specifically to address today’s complex opportunities and challenges using the technology that defines our time."

Although this book is short in length (only 102 pages) it's content touches on everything from creativity, to open societies and provides perspective on the purpose of life (although I have yet to get to this chapter). I've had this book for only a couple of days and I am 90% of the way through it as it is an engaging read that keeps me wanting to see what Brian Frank has to say next about a variety of topics.

From the author's website:

This is a unique book. On one hand, much of the content originated in the form of essays and blog posts; on the other hand, most of the research and tough thinking behind all of them — the “heavy lifting” — was done earlier, before any of these essays were written, with an eye on eventually fusing everything into a single, “big picture” argument.

Expect to see more in the future, as several outlines for books and articles with more focus and mass appeal (as well as some with more academic rigour) emerged in the process of putting this together.

Available in both paperback format ($9.99) and ebook download (Free) this book is something that everyone should pickup and read. I personally think that Truth, Will & Relevance has something different to offer to every person who reads it and I believe that it has the ability to change the way you think about the work you complete and how you approach life in general.
